Democrat Pia Dandiya is touting a handful of new PAC endorsements and a nod from a sitting Congresswoman, all hoping to see her flip Florida’s 21st Congressional District in November.
U.S. Rep. Jill Tokuda of Hawaii and five progressive groups — Aspire PAC, Democrats for Education Reform, Serve America PAC, Square One and Vote Mama — are all throwing their support behind the first-time candidate, her campaign announced. Their nods follow one from EMILY’s List last week.
Serve America PAC, founded by U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton of Massachusetts, supports service-driven leaders focused on people over politics. Aspire PAC is tied to Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Democratic members of Congress. Vote Mama is the nation’s first PAC dedicated to electing Democratic mothers, Square One invests in young progressive candidates, and Democrats for Education Reform backs candidates who support strengthening public education.
Tokuda, a former Hawaii state Senate member who has represented Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District since 2023, said Dandiya has her “wholehearted support.”
