From the classroom to the White House, Pia has spent her career expanding opportunity.
Pia was born and raised in Palm Beach County to parents who emigrated from India in pursuit of a better life. She began her career as a teacher and became a high-performing school principal in Harlem.
She later served as a White House Fellow at the Department of Education and went on to lead public-sector innovation at Apple, partnering with state and local leaders to deliver real solutions for communities.
She's running for Congress to fight for lower costs, great schools, and a government that works for the people — not the powerful.
